Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Theta Theta Omega Chapter, in conjunction with The 20 Pearls Foundation, Inc. are asking for your assistance! The name of our event is titled Thanksgiving Basket Donations, but due to COVID we are not able to assemble and distribute baskets. Instead, we will distribute  grocery gift cards. Our goal is to feed 250 families this Thanksgiving holiday. Many of the families we feed annually are older adults and kinship families taking on the responsibility to raise their grandchildren, and many are raising their younger siblings. We want to help these families by providing enough monetary support to shop for groceries for their Thanksgiving dinner. This year we had a generous donation of 250 turkeys. So all donations collected will contribute to the purchase of side dishes, and desserts.

Thank you for considering this request.  Your donation will mean so much to the recipients during this time of uncertainty and loss.

Here’s how your monetary donation will help:
$40-Feeds a family of 4
$60-Feeds a family of 6
$80-Feeds a family of 8
$100– Feeds a family of 10
$200-Feeds a family of 20

Donations accepted until Oct. 31, 2020
