AKA Day at the Capitol is an advocacy-focused event, where members of our sorority gather at state or national legislative centers to engage in meaningful discussions and promote legislative priorities that align with the organization’s mission of service and advocacy. This year, we are inviting you to join our chapter at the Nevada capital building in Reno! Come meet with lawmakers, public officials, and community leaders to discuss policies and advocate for changes on issues like education reform, health equity, economic empowerment, social justice, and voter engagement and protection.
