Chapter Programs

This Youth Enrichment Organization for young ladies in high school was established in 1993 to develop and address the leadership, character, community, civic, and scholastic needs of young ladies in the Las Vegas community.

The Economic Summit and Student Leadership Conference is a one-day financial literacy, college and career preparation event for middle school and high school students and their families in Southern Nevada. The ES&SLC has enabled more youth and their families to obtain important information from a variety of professionals in the areas of finance, scholarships, college and careers and entrepreneurship.  The ES&SLC has been attended by more than 3000 students and their parents and has also provided over $30,000.00 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Clark County Nevada.

This program targets high school students in 9th-12th grade with college preparedness, workshops, college tours, hosting and supporting college fairs, and scholarship assistance.  The Ivy AKAdemy will assist students with completing their college applications and FAFSA forms by motivating and assisting young people through the college entry process.

This signature program provides baskets containing complete dinners distributed to senior citizens raising grandchildren. This project is undertaken at Thanksgiving time in partnership with several community organizations and partners. 

This yearly event serves as the major fundraiser for Theta Theta Omega. The money raised is used for local programs and scholarships for local high school seniors enrolling in college.

This signature program provides the community with valuable, informative, and fun-filled resources that cover a wide array of behavioral health and medical topics. This event addresses the basic needs of life and helps support our community members’ social determinants of health.

Everyone is welcome in the garden! Join us this Saturday for some fun in the dirt and refreshing lemonade. Come out and bring your family! If able, please bring plastic grocery bags and composting items for our ongoing Enhance our Environment projects. 

AKA Day at the Capitol is an advocacy-focused event, where members of our sorority gather at state or national legislative centers to engage in meaningful discussions and promote legislative priorities that align with the organization’s mission of service and advocacy.

We Are One Weekend.  celebrates our sisterhood and honors Dr. King’s legacy through service in the 702. We began by spreading the joy of literacy during Reading Day at local elementary schools, providing service through our Recuperative Care Initiative, packing essential boxes for organizations such as Dress for Success, a beautiful church service, anda  performance by our choir, the Sensational Sounds of Theta Theta Omega, a and concludes by walking in unity during the MLK Day Parade, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of justice, equality, and service.

Phirst Pham Barbeque with the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Phirst Pham Barbeque is an opportunity for our sorority and fraternal brothers to fellowship with one another and each other’s families. It takes place every year on Memorial Day weekend with music, food, and activities for all ages.
